Started in 2003 by John Morgan and James Hogan with the help of a small band of local beekeepers Bob Delaney, Eric Pearson and John Rossiter. Our Association represents local beekeepers at a Local, National and International level.
Our aim is to promote the craft of beekeeping and help support the education and development of existing beekeepers in the South Wexford area.
We give members a forum to meet, discuss and learn the skills required in the craft of beekeeping, known as Apiculture.

We also run a mentoring service for existing members and hold beginner courses based on demand. We meet the first Thursday of each month at 8pm. (with the exceptions of January, July and August) at the Teagasc Offices, Johnstown, Co.Wexford (opposite the public entrance forJohnstown Castle and Gardens).
